Deutsche Bank Research has highlighted the UK economy's remarkable resilience following strong performance in early 2026. The British Gross Domestic Product (GDP) expanded by 0.6% quarter-on-quarter in Q1 and 0.4% in Q2, positioning the United Kingdom as the fastest-growing economy among the G7 nations during this period. Analysts Sanjay Raja and Maui Brennan noted that the economy managed to absorb energy market shocks better than initial forecasts had suggested.
