‎TASI: 3 stocks fall to lowest since debut

2026-08-16

Data compiled by Argaam revealed that three companies listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (TASI) reached their lowest price levels since their trading debut. During the trading session, Miahona dropped to SAR 11.07, down 56% relative to its listing price. City Cement reached SAR 10.01, down 38% since its 2012 debut, while Al Arabia declined to SAR 64.85, marking a 25% drop since listing in late 2021. This price pressure highlights selective weakness in specific sectors within the Tadawul benchmark, despite broader macroeconomic initiatives in the Kingdom. Institutional and retail investors are scrutinizing individual stock valuations and fundamentals as profit-taking and shifting liquidity preferences continue to weigh on newly listed and mature middle-cap equities alike. Investors will be paying close attention to upcoming financial results, institutional support levels, and overall trading volume for these equities. Market participants will watch if these key support breaks trigger deeper sell-offs or attract value investors seeking entry points.
