Brokerage firm Valutrades has officially paused new client onboarding and discontinued services for certain high-risk client segments, framing the move as part of a broader strategic review. Despite the suspension across both its UK and Seychelles regulated entities, the firm maintains that its global operations continue as usual and that it is not withdrawing from any of its current markets.
The strategic shift comes amid ongoing financial challenges for the broker. Valutrades reported a net loss of £671,705 for 2025, which marks an improvement compared to its £2.59 million loss in the previous year. However, cumulative losses over recent years necessitated a fresh capital injection of £600,000 from shareholders in March 2026 to support operational capital requirements.
While Valutrades reassured clients that all funds remain securely held in segregated Tier-1 bank accounts, the company has not provided a timeline for when new account onboarding will resume. The broker is focusing its resources on lower-risk, sustainable client segments to stabilize its long-term corporate finance structure.
Valutrades has paused new client onboarding and stopped serving some client segments, but still describes its global operations as “business as usual” and the changes as part of a strategic review of its client portfolio. The statement came after Finance Magnates reported earlier today that new account applications were unavailable through both the broker’s UK- and Seychelles-regulated entities.
