The USD/CHF currency pair experienced a sharp rally following the Federal Reserve's recent interest rate decision, breaking above key technical resistance levels including late-July highs and a significant Fibonacci retracement. However, price action has entered a narrow consolidation phase, creating a tight trading range bounded by support between 0.8205 and 0.8212 and resistance at the 100-hour moving average near 0.8223.
USDCHF moved sharply higher last week following the FOMC rate decision, with the rally taking the pair above several important longer-term technical levels.
