أعلن محمد الحقباني، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة توال للنية التحتية للاتصالات، أن الشركة تدير حالياً 30 ألف برج اتصالات تتوزع على خمس أسواق إقليمية، مقارنة بنحو 14 ألف برج عند تأسيسها، وذلك بعد اندماجها مع شركة لتيس الاستثمارية. وتستحوذ المملكة العربية السعودية على النصيب الأكبر بنحو 24 ألف برج، إلى جانب عمليات في باكستان وبلغاريا وكرواتيا وسلوفينيا. وأوضح الحقباني خلال مشاركته في مؤتمر ليب 2026 أن الشركة قامت ببناء أكثر من 1,000 برج جديد العام الماضي وأجرت 12,000 ترقية لشبكاتها لتحسين سرعات التحميل والتغطية. وتدعم توال مشغلي الاتصالات الرئيسيين مثل وموبايلي وزين، بالإضافة إلى تقديم حلول البنية التحتية الرقمية للمشاريع الكبرى في المملكة مثل القدية والدرعية ومشروع البحر الأحمر. ويرى الخبراء أن هذا التوسع يعزز مكانة السعودية كمركز إقليمي للتقنية والاتصالات، ويدعم التحول الرقمي المخطط له ضمن رؤية 2030. كما أن المحادثات الأولية للاستحواذ على أبراج إضافية من شركة موبايلي تعكس فرص نمو واعدة قد ترفع من الكفاءة التشغيلية والمالية لقطاع الاتصالات في المنطقة.
TAWAL, the leading Saudi telecommunications infrastructure company, now manages 30,000 towers across five regional markets, according to CEO Mohammed Alhakbani. Speaking at the LEAP 2026 conference, Alhakbani highlighted the company's growth from 14,000 towers at inception, boosted by its merger with Golden Lattices Investment Co. (LATIS). Saudi Arabia forms the core of its operations with approximately 24,000 towers, alongside active market presence in Pakistan, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Slovenia.
The operational expansion reflects a broader trend of telecom operators outsourcing infrastructure management to improve capital efficiency. TAWAL built over 1,000 new towers last year and performed more than 12,000 upgrades to enhance network coverage and data speeds. By expanding partnerships with global technology leaders like Lenovo and Huawei, TAWAL is positioning itself to provide advanced digital solutions, including 5G, IoT, and edge computing.
For MENA region investors, TAWAL's robust growth underscores the rapid development of Saudi Arabia's digital infrastructure, which is vital for gigaprojects such as Qiddiya, Diriyah, and the Red Sea Project.
