IG Group is reportedly preparing to eliminate hundreds of positions across its global operations as part of a major structural overhaul. The retail trading giant plans to consolidate its regional consumer business divisions—previously split across the UK, Europe, and Asia-Pacific/Middle East—into a single operational entity called IG Consumer. Consultations regarding employee redundancies have already commenced in the United Kingdom, with additional procedures expected to begin across Europe, the UAE, and India throughout September.
