OANDA Securities has announced significant leadership changes at its Japanese division, replacing its long-standing country head Yoshiharu Yanagisawa with two joint representative directors, Akira Miyamura and Philip Waters. The restructuring comes as the brokerage prepares to decommission MetaTrader 4 (MT4) on November 27, completing a transition to MetaTrader 5 (MT5). Miyamura brings extensive marketing experience in Greater China and Japan, while Waters retains his role as Asia-Pacific regional CEO.
OANDA's Japanese brokerage has replaced Yoshiharu Yanagisawa at the top of the company with two joint representative directors, according to a notice posted today (Tuesday).
