Microsoft Arabia is set to launch its Saudi Arabia East cloud region in November, aiming to meet the expanding demand for data centers driven by rapid enterprise and government adoption of cloud and artificial intelligence technologies. According to research from IDC, Microsoft’s cloud ecosystem and broader partner network are projected to generate around $44.2 billion in new cumulative revenue for the Saudi economy between 2027 and 2030, while supporting approximately 100,000 regional jobs. Furthermore, localized AI initiatives, including technical collaboration with HUMAIN to refine Arabic-language AI models, highlight a strategic shift toward context-aware enterprise tools.
