أعلنت شركة الوساطة الرقمية Freetrade عن استقالة الرئيسة التنفيذية جيني تشاو من منصبها بعد ثلاثة أشهر فقط من توليه في أواخر مايو الماضي. وتأتي هذه الاستقالة في أعقاب فترة من التغييرات الإدارية داخل الشركة، حيث تولت تشاو المنصب خلفاً للشريك المؤسس فيكتور نيباهاج. وأكد متحدث باسم الشركة المغادرة مشيراً إلى أن العمل جارٍ لتحديد البديل في الوقت المناسب. تأتي هذه التطورات بعد استحواذ مجموعة IG Group على شركة Freetrade مقابل 160 مليون جنيه إسترليني لتعزيز وجودها في سوق الاستثمار المباشر بالمملكة المتحدة. ورغم حداثة عهد تشاو في المنصب، إلا أن استقالتها المفاجئة تثير التساؤلات حول استقرار القيادة التنفيذية خلال مرحلة التوسع والاندماج تحت مظلة IG Group. بالنسبة للمستثمرين والمتداولين في منطقة الخليج والشرق الأوسط المتابعين لقطاع التكنولوجيا المالية البريطاني، تظهر هذه الخطوة حالة عدم اليقين الإداري في شركات الوساطة الحديثة. ويُتوقع أن تتركز الأنظار على كيفية إدارة IG Group لهذه المرحلة الانتقالية واختيار قيادة جديدة قادرة على تحقيق النمو المستهدف.
Jenny Zhao has stepped down from her role as Chief Executive Officer of UK-based neobroker Freetrade after just three months in the position. Zhao had assumed the top job in late May, following the departure of co-founder Viktor Nebehaj. A company spokesperson confirmed her exit and stated that an update regarding the search for a new CEO will be provided in due course. Freetrade has not yet announced a successor.
