The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has submitted proposed cryptocurrency market regulations to the White House Office of Management and Budget for review. This regulatory maneuver comes as legislative efforts, particularly the Clarity for Payment Stablecoins Act, remain bogged down in Congressional deliberations. Concurrently, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is paving new regulatory avenues for tokenized stock trading, signaling a broader push by U.S. watchdogs to establish oversight frameworks.
