أعلنت شركة أكوا باور عن توقيع اتفاقيات رسمية لتطوير وبناء وتشغيل ثلاثة مشاريع مستقلة لتخزين الطاقة بوسطة البطاريات في المملكة العربية السعودية. ووفقاً للبيان المنشور على السوق المالية السعودية (تداول)، ستصل حصة الشركة إلى 34.9% في كل مشروع عند الإغلاق المالي. وتتوزع المشاريع، وهي الكهفة وهدن والمويه، في منطقتي حائل ومكة المكرمة.
ACWA Power has signed official agreements to develop, construct, and operate three major standalone battery energy storage system projects in Saudi Arabia. Upon reaching financial close, the Saudi energy giant will hold a 34.9% equity stake in each project. The strategic facilities—named Al-Kahfa, Haden, and Al-Muwaiyah—are positioned across the Hail and Makkah regions to enhance grid stability.

According to a statement to Tadawul, the projects, Al-Kahfa, Haden and Al-Muwaiyah, are located in Hail and Makkah regions. Each project has a 500 MW capacity and 2,000 MWh storage capacity.
