United Carton Industries Co. (UCIC) has officially announced the renewal and amendment of its Shariah-compliant credit facilities with Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF). The total value of the agreement stands at SAR 215 million, backed by a promissory note of equal value issued in favor of the lending bank.
According to the statement disclosed on Tadawul, the primary purpose of these facilities is to support UCIC's working capital requirements. The financing structure includes Tawarruq mechanisms, alongside the issuance of letters of credit and avalization. The funding commitment is scheduled to mature on June 30, 2027, with no related-party transactions involved.
This credit line strengthening enhances UCIC's operational liquidity and operational flexibility, allowing it to execute its commercial plans effectively. For investors tracking Tadawul-listed equities, corporate refinancing deals on favorable terms generally indicate stable banking relationships and sound balance sheet management.
