Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) announced that its 75%-owned subsidiary, Saudi Methanol Co. (Ar-Razi), has secured approval from the Saudi Ministry of Energy for feedstock allocation. This regulatory clearance paves the way for establishing a major new methanol production facility in Jubail Industrial City, designed to reach an annual production capacity of 1.8 million tons.
