Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in coordination with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, announced a mandate to raise the Saudization rate in project management professions to 70% in the private sector. Scheduled to take effect on February 14, 2027, the rule applies to all private-sector entities employing three or more workers in specified roles. Targeted positions include project management managers, engineers, and specialists. To support private companies in complying with the regulations, the ministry will offer comprehensive support packages.
